About the role

Remote, full-time commercial counsel role focused on reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, leveraging AI tools, and driving end-to-end deal outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate commercial contracts with speed and precision, catching obligations, risks, and off-market terms that matter.
  • Collaborate with other Crosby legal team members to interpret contract terms and surface anomalies and edge cases needing an expert read.
  • Spot inefficiencies and recurring patterns in contract reviews and implement improvements.
  • Help standardize and codify recurring contract types and playbooks to amplify team judgment.
  • Partner with engineering and operations to evolve Crosby's legal service delivery model.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years reviewing commercial contracts in private practice or in-house
  • Impeccable attention to detail and sound, commercial judgment
  • High standards for own work and ability to improve processes
  • Comfort with change and ability to operate in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Clear writer and communicator who can explain complex calls simply
  • Interest in or experience with AI and adapting legal work to AI-enabled workflows
