Strategy & Ops Senior Associate, with a focus on Billing, is an experienced generalist role at Clipboard. The role combines problem-solving across initiatives (e.g., predictive analytics for underwriting, vendor onboarding for AI-enabled collections, payment-method redesign, and team management) within a remote-first, fast-paced startup.

Responsibilities

  • Build an internal predictive analytics model and corresponding underwriting process to catch bad payers early with high accuracy to inform contracting decisions and risk mitigation tactics
  • Research, vet, and onboard a new vendor that embeds AI agents into our customer-facing collections efforts
  • Redesign our process for converting workplaces to new methods of payment, such as getting customers who send checks to start paying via eCheck to speed up cash conversion
  • Manage a team of Billing Account Managers
