About the role

Strategy & Ops Senior Associate, remote-first role at Clipboard, starting with the Billing team. An experienced generalist focusing on solving diverse problems to optimize collections, profitability, and cash conversion while maintaining customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build an internal predictive analytics model and corresponding underwriting process to catch bad payers early with high accuracy to inform our contracting decisions and risk mitigation tactics
  • Research, vet, and onboard a new vendor that embeds AI agents into our customer-facing collections efforts
  • Redesign our process for converting workplaces to new methods of payment, such as getting customers who send checks to start paying us via eCheck to speed up the cash conversion process
  • Manage a team of Billing Account Managers

Qualifications

  • Experience in strategy, operations, or analytics with a generalist skill set
  • Strong problem-solving, curiosity, and ability to work across multiple functions
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and front-line operations
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to deliver solutions quickly in a fast-paced startup environment
