About the role

Flex Agent (1099 Independent Contractor) role allowing licensed real estate professionals to perform real estate tasks on a per-task basis for Mainstay, remotely as needed. Independent contractor program with flexible schedule and earnings tied to completed work.

Responsibilities

  • Completing assigned real estate tasks on behalf of customers
  • Writing and negotiating offers
  • Preparing comparative market analyses (CMAs)
  • Conducting property walk-throughs
  • Performing weekly property checks
  • Managing transactions from contract to close
  • Leveraging own license to support customer needs (when opportunities arise)

Qualifications

  • Active real estate license in at least one state
  • Experience in real estate transactions (traditional sales, iBuying, or transaction coordination preferred)
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks on time and with attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple transactions, and diligent documentation
  • Strong technical skills: Salesforce or a similar CRM, G-Suite, Slack, MacOS, and ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously
  • Negotiation skills and customer service mindset
  • Reliable transportation for property-related tasks
  • Access to a smartphone and computer for task completion, documentation, and communication
