About the role

Product Manager responsible for owning a major product area at Mercor, building products that convert human expertise into better AI models, with end-to-end ownership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Advance the frontier of AI: build and own products that make this possible.
  • Understand User Needs: work with expert annotators, customers, and internal operators to understand their needs.
  • Understand the Business: work backwards from business outcomes to impact health and growth.
  • End-to-end ownership: own product and feature lifecycles from conception to execution to sunsetting when necessary.
  • Get in the weeds: write specs and PRDs, build dashboards, and make small PRs to unblock yourself.
  • Collaborate: partner with engineering, research, operations, and design to ship products quickly.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years as a product manager
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or Economics, Cognitive Science, or Business with strong technical experience)
