About the role

Store Manager role in Hamburg for LAP Coffee, responsible for leading one store, driving sales, and delivering exceptional customer experience while ensuring operational excellence and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day success of one LAP store and own store performance
  • Lead the team, organize shifts, ensure exceptional customer service, and keep operations running smoothly
  • Jump behind the counter during rushes to support the team and drive strong sales and customer experience
  • Guide baristas to achieve company goals while upholding cultural standards and develop future General Managers
  • Maintain elite operating standards, monitor key store metrics, plan shifts, and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain strict health and safety standards and ensure product quality and freshness
  • Accurately track and report daily KPIs, inventory counts, and commissary transfers
  • Implement systems to minimize product waste by adjusting inventory par levels
  • Collaborate with Brand and Marketing to grow a loyal customer base and foster local community relationships
  • Master and apply product, service, and brand training playbooks for consistency

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail F&B with a track record in team scaling, inventory, and supply chain management
  • Coffee industry experience is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial, solution-focused, and adaptable to fast-paced startup environments
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills under pressure; ability to spot growth opportunities and test ideas within tight budgets
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for new opportunities
