About the role

Notion is hiring a Product Designer to build timeless, craft-driven software with a strong emphasis on user-centered design, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and scalable design systems. The role is based in San Francisco or New York, hybrid onsite with anchor days in office.

Responsibilities

  • Design product concepts that balance vision, craft, speed, and business potential.
  • Craft every detail of new product features, from idea to UX to pixel-perfect execution.
  • Run projects end to end with engineers to drive your vision to the ship line.
  • Partner closely with Customer Experience, Sales, and Customer Success to understand user needs and prioritize roadmap.
  • Work with Marketing to tell great stories across site, product, help guides and other channels.
  • Create new patterns that are intuitive and practical; evolve design system as we scale.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of working experience.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and advocate for strong user experiences.
  • Strong intuition for accessible mental models and flows.
  • Ability to create clear, intuitive, and visually appealing human interfaces.
  • Balance between craft, speed, and business practicality.
  • Strong collaboration, listening, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience telling stories with words and visuals; ability to align cross-functionally.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with PM, engineering, research, data, and design peers.
