About the role

ML Engineer focused on representation learning for user-behavioral modeling, powering products with core models; full stack ML responsibilities including data processing, model training, deployment, and evaluation in a remote startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Data processing, model training, deployment, and evaluation
  • Collaborate with Product and Applications teams to realize R&D gains
  • Wear a Product hat and flex into other functions as needed
  • Contribute to non-research components of the pipeline (data orchestration, build systems, experiment tracking)
  • Interact with systems like Airflow, Bazel, Github CI/CD, and Spark

Qualifications

  • Experience applying machine learning to representation learning, embeddings drift, CTR modeling, sequence modeling in industrial/big data settings
  • Ability to work across data processing, model training, deployment, and evaluation
  • Comfort with data orchestration, build systems, and experiment tracking; familiarity with Airflow, Bazel, Github CI/CD, Spark is helpful
  • Good product sense and opinions on product-market fit and implementation choices
