About the role

Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer role responsible for designing and implementing the real-time ML-based advertising stack, owning major product bets, mentoring engineers, and driving architectural direction while spending more than half time coding.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of systems powering real-time ML-based advertising stack
  • Own major product bets, mentor other engineers, and drive architectural direction
  • Work across low-latency decisioning, data pipelines, and service orchestration layers to ensure reliability, scalability, and developer-friendliness
  • Contribute across real-time bidding systems, cloud-native infrastructure, and reproducible deployment tooling
  • Provide architectural ownership with clean interfaces, modular boundaries, and scalable deployment patterns
  • Demonstrate operational maturity with observability, alerting, and CI/CD practices
  • Balance technical rigor with pragmatic shipping and refactoring as needed
  • Demonstrate leadership by mentoring and turning ambiguity into clarity and action

Qualifications

  • Experience leading multi-person or multi-team projects
  • Deep systems experience with distributed, high-throughput, low-latency systems (advertising, recommendations, or real-time domains)
  • Proficiency in one or more of Go, Rust, C++, Scala, or Java
  • Ability to design clean interfaces and scalable deployment patterns
  • Operational maturity in observability, alerting, and reproducibility; CI/CD and infrastructure focus
  • Mentorship and leadership capabilities
  • Startup mindset with balance between shipping and refactoring
