About the role

Senior Software Engineer role focused on building and scaling the core systems powering Yobi's real-time ML-based advertising stack, including real-time bidding, decisioning, and cloud-native infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale core systems for real-time ML-based advertising stack
  • Design, implement, and operate low-latency, high-throughput services
  • Work on real-time bidding and decisioning, cloud-native infrastructure, and deployment tooling
  • Collaborate with product and data teams to deliver performant, reliable, and observable systems that scale
  • Own major surface areas and help shape architecture and culture from the ground up

Qualifications

  • Strong ownership and ability to operate in ambiguous environments
  • Experience building or scaling distributed, high-throughput, low-latency systems (advertising, recommendations, or real-time domains)
  • Proficiency in one or more of Go, Rust, C++, Scala, or Java
  • Ability to design clean interfaces, modular service boundaries, and scalable deployment patterns
  • Operational maturity in observability, alerting, reproducibility; familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure as code
  • Startup mindset with pragmatism and ship-or-refactor judgment
