About the role

LLM engineer role focused on architecting prompting systems and scalable AI infrastructure for healthcare-focused computer agents at Novoflow.

Responsibilities

  • Design custom prompt frameworks for core infrastructure agents.
  • Build smart context engineering with backend systems integration.
  • Address safety, reliability, and latency at scale for LLM-based solutions.
  • Drive technical decisions and architecture design.
  • Collaborate with founders and team to translate business goals into actionable plans.
  • Take full product ownership from ideation to launch, including system integrations.

Qualifications

  • 2-10 years of hands-on general engineering and context engineering experience.
  • Startup experience preferred; former founders valued.
  • Backend skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python (voice agents).
  • Frontend skills with Next.js.
  • Cloud platforms familiarity with AWS and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Docker is a plus.
  • Regulatory experience with HIPAA is useful.
  • Educational background ideally from a top-50 US college.
