About the role

Assist in the design and execution of test plans to ensure software quality, involving manual and automated testing tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed test cases based on project requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and system-level testing with minimal supervision.
  • Assist in test planning, including analysing requirements and creating test scenarios.
  • Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and tools.
  • Coordinate with developers to communicate defects and support debugging efforts.
  • Perform basic configuration and maintenance of test environments.
  • Maintain QA procedures on a per client/project basis.
  • Maintain quality plans for existing and new client needs.
  • Identify testing problems and generate solutions for projects or processes.
  • Manage testing projects systematically to ensure smooth progress.
  • Troubleshoot in testing development and execution.
  • An understanding of image and/or video editing is an advantage, especially for ART image tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in testing.
  • Proficient in defect tracking tools and test management systems.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and QA processes.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, VBA) is a plus.
