About the role

Seeking experienced patent translator with proficiency in translating patents from English into Korean, specializing in Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Electricity, Mechanics, with immediate availability for freelance remote projects.

Responsibilities

  • Translate patent documents from English into Korean.
  • Proofread and review patent translations.
  • Ensure accuracy and technical quality in translations, particularly in Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Electricity, Mechanics.
  • Provide translation in formats compatible with K-Editor (HLT, HLZ, FIN).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in translating and/or editing patent documents, especially mechanical and/or chemical patents.
  • Proficiency with CAT tools, especially Trados and XTM.
  • Ability to provide compatible formats (HLT, HLZ, FIN).
  • Good availability and quick response times.
  • Experience in translating patents in Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Electricity, Mechanics.
