About the role

Seeking experienced Language Reviewers to evaluate and improve language data accuracy, naturalness, and consistency in Norwegian for AI applications. Freelance, remote position focusing on linguistic quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate lists of synonyms and related phrases for accuracy, appropriateness, and naturalness.
  • Identify linguistic errors, awkward phrasing, or incorrect usage and suggest corrections.
  • Generate improved or alternative synonyms that better match intended meanings.
  • Provide insightful linguistic feedback to improve language quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with project managers and fellow linguists to meet quality standards and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Background in linguistics, translation, copyediting, or related fields.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Strong knowledge of synonyms, semantics, and contextual meaning.
  • Previous experience with linguistic QA or content reviewing is a plus.
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently.
