About the role

Seeking linguists fluent in Dutch with gaming and app content experience to translate and adapt gaming-related content for Dutch audiences in the Netherlands, ensuring cultural relevance and engaging storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Translate and post-edit gaming-related content with precision and creativity.
  • Adapt tone, style, and structure to reflect gaming culture, trends, and idiomatic usage in Dutch (Netherlands).
  • Collaborate with assessment team to complete linguistic and creative testing.
  • Maintain brand consistency and linguistic accuracy across UI, banners, promotional assets, and in-game text.
  • Provide feedback or suggestions for improving content relevance and user engagement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in gaming, apps, or creative localization.
  • Strong familiarity with gaming terminology, trends, genres, and cultural context.
  • Excellent command of Dutch (Netherlands) and deep cultural fluency.
  • Comfortable using CAT tools and adapting content to multiple platforms.
  • Degree in linguistics, translation, or journalism. Creative writing background preferred.
