About the role

Seeking a full-time Korean Metadata Specialist in Japan to work remotely on quality evaluation, content review, and creation for music and TV applications, contributing to global consumer technology products.

Responsibilities

  • QA various products by accurately following testing instructions and test cases
  • Adhere to project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides and client-preferred checklists and glossaries
  • Complete assigned tasks in a quality and timely manner
  • Stay motivated and deliver results while working on repetitive tasks
  • Understand and prioritize tasks and issues quickly and efficiently
  • Navigate ambiguity and make informed judgment calls with information at hand
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for and knowledge of the film and TV industry

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Korean
  • Proven ability to maintain motivation and focus through repetitive tasks
  • Highly detail-oriented with ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • Sharp problem solving and analytical skills
  • Comfortable with navigating ambiguity and making sound judgment calls
  • Up-to-date knowledge of local movies, TV shows, music, literature, social media platforms, cultural sensitivities and nuances
  • Knowledge of advanced spreadsheet and XML (preferred)
