About the role

Perform proofreading, editing, and occasional translation of Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong) content, ensure UI functionality, and verify linguistic accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Proofread and edit localized content in Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong) for grammar, typos, syntax, punctuation, capitalization, and consistency.
  • Translate content from English to Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong) when required.
  • Check user interfaces for functional issues.

Qualifications

  • Native-level fluency in Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong) (grammar, vocabulary, composition, punctuation).
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience working in translation.
  • Tech-savvy with experience testing web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS.
  • Ability to prioritize linguistic issues and distinguish between essential and optional fixes.
  • Experience with test cases, test scripts, and bug tracking systems.
  • Ability to articulate reproduction steps and communicate effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments, including diverse teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
