About the role

Translation, Localization, Interpretation, QA Testing for multilingual content in marketing and life sciences, specializing in Amharic as target language.

Responsibilities

  • Translate, copy edit, and review content in specified subject matter areas such as Investigator facing, Patient facing, Pharmacy materials, Marketing, Help and UI content.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in translating, copy editing content in related subject areas.
  • Professional level understanding of English (US/GB).
  • Native level expertise of Amharic with cultural nuances.
  • Well versed with CAT tools like XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, Smartling.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications like MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Desirable: Translation degree or 3 years translation experience with other degrees or 5 years translation experience without degree.
