About the role

Seeking a Localization QA Tester / Proofreader for Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong) to review localized content and UI for errors, with some translation work, on-site in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Proofreading and editing localized content for errors, including grammar, typos, punctuation, capitalization, and inconsistencies.
  • Translating content from English to Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong) when needed.
  • Checking UI for functional issues.

Qualifications

  • Native-level fluency in Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong).
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience working in translation, localization, or related fields.
  • Tech-savvy with experience testing web-based systems on Mac OS X and iOS.
  • Experience working with test cases, scripts, and bug tracking systems.
  • Ability to prioritize issues and communicate effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in diverse teams.
