About the role

Freelance Senior Linguist specializing in translation, localization, and interpretation for marketing and life sciences content, with a focus on Tigrinya language.

Responsibilities

  • Perform translation, copy editing, and QA testing for content related to marketing, life sciences, and healthcare.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in translating, copy editing content in specified subject matter areas.
  • Professional level understanding of English (US/GB).
  • Native level expertise of Tigrinya as Target Language with core understanding of cultural nuances.
  • Proficiency with CAT tools such as XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, Smartling.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications like MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Desirable: Translation degree or equivalent experience.
