About the role

Welo Data, part of Welocalize, is building a global community of linguists and language enthusiasts to contribute to AI training datasets in various languages including Galician. This is a flexible, freelance, remote opportunity for contributors to work on annotation, evaluation, and prompt creation for AI systems.

Responsibilities

  • Annotate or label text, images, or audio to train AI systems
  • Evaluate search results, ads, or chatbot responses for quality and relevance
  • Create and test prompts to improve large language models (LLMs)
  • Ensure content reflects cultural, linguistic, or industry-specific accuracy

Qualifications

  • Native or near-native fluency in Galician
  • Based in Spain or remote
  • English proficiency
  • Comfortable with digital tools
  • Detail-oriented and curious
