About the role

Software Engineer position in Paris, remote, at 360Learning. Join a growing R&D organization of 60+ engineers organized into product squads; work on a complex codebase with strong emphasis on clean architecture, modern JS stack (MongoDB, Node.js, Vue.js) with a migration to TypeScript; opportunity for rapid growth within a decentralized peer review culture.

Responsibilities

  • Discover the 360Learning platform
  • Have a global view on our codebase
  • Become familiar with team's processes
  • Implement your first tickets
  • Integrate our decentralized peer review process to adopt our best practices
  • Join a squad with clear goals for innovation and maintain/improve features within its scope
  • Develop broader functionalities
  • Level up skills on Node, Vue, TypeScript, JS
  • Share best practices within the team
  • Create courses on the platform
  • Implement cross-functional tools to maintain quality and velocity
  • Document, refactor, analyze features to maintain high quality and transparency
  • Onboard new engineers in the team
  • Be owner of part of the codebase
  • Work on complex functionalities impacting multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Work on architectural changes impacting the entire codebase

Qualifications

  • Significant full stack programming experience including Agile methodologies, SaaS software architecture, and modern programming languages
  • Interest in JavaScript technologies (not required to be an expert)
  • Experience creating quality interfaces that are intuitive, efficient, elegant
  • Comfortable with algorithms
  • Product-oriented mindset focused on customer experience
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Fluent English (US/UK) / B2 level or equivalent (FR)
