About the role

Software Engineer position at 360Learning (Spain, remote) within the Engineering organization. Opportunity to work on a complex codebase with a modern JS stack, grow within a decentralized R&D team, and contribute to product features and architectural improvements across squads.

Responsibilities

  • Within 1 month, you will: Discover the 360Learning platform; Have a global view on our codebase; Become familiar with team's processes; Implement your first tickets; Integrate our decentralized peer review process to adopt our best practices
  • Within 3 months, you will: Join a squad with clear innovation goals and maintain/improve product features and codebase; Work on broader functionalities; Level up on Node, Vue, TypeScript, JS
  • Within 6 months, you will: Share best practices within the team; Create your own courses on the platform; Implement cross-functional tools to maintain quality and velocity; Document, refactor, analyze features for quality and transparency
  • Within 12 months, you will: Onboard new engineers in your team; Be the owner of part of the codebase; Work on complex functionalities impacting multiple teams; Work on architectural changes affecting the entire codebase

Qualifications

  • Significant full stack programming experience including experience with Agile methodologies, SaaS software architecture, and modern programming languages
  • Interest in JavaScript technologies
  • Experience creating quality interfaces that are intuitive, efficient, elegant
  • Comfortable with algorithms
  • Product-oriented mindset with focus on customers and user experience
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Fluent English (US/UK) / B2 level or equivalent (FR)
