About the role

Seeking a seasoned Full-Stack Developer skilled in Python and modern web frameworks to join Bluelight Consulting's team, working remotely in Latin America, with a focus on SaaS products and corporate environments.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to challenging and meaningful projects, developing high-quality applications.
  • Design and develop backend services in Python using Flask or Django.
  • Create and maintain data storage solutions using PostgreSQL and ORMs.
  • Develop frontend components with React and Knockout.
  • Implement and manage keyed storage solutions such as MongoDB and Redis.
  • Utilize DevOps tools like Git, Vagrant, Fabric, Docker, AWS, Jenkins.
  • Participate in continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years as a Full-Stack Developer using open-source technologies.
  • Strong experience with Python and/or other object-oriented languages.
  • Proficiency in full-stack development, including back-end services, data storage, and web frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
