About the role

A position for an experienced content creator and technical writer to develop high-quality technology-related content for a software consultancy, with responsibilities including writing, interviewing team members, collaborating on graphics, managing content publishing, and shaping company's tone and voice.

Responsibilities

  • Write one piece of clear, persuasive content per week, including blog posts, white papers, case studies, long-form reports, and website copy.
  • Interview developers, designers, and senior managers to gather information.
  • Work with the design team to create appealing graphics to embed within content.
  • Manage publishing of content on blog and social media channels.
  • Create the tone and voice for the company.
  • Write bios for team profile pages.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of content creation/writing experience for a software / high tech company.
  • A four-year college degree.
  • Excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid understanding of SEO techniques and best practices.
  • Ability to understand technical issues and communicate them simply and effectively.
  • A solid portfolio of copy/content.
  • Strong conceptual skills and quick learning ability.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Extremely high attention to detail, with a low tolerance for typos, misspellings, or grammatical mistakes.
