About the role

Seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer with expertise in Python (Flask/Django) and React to join a dynamic, remote team at Bluelight Consulting, focusing on innovative software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using Python (Flask/Django) and React.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable back-end services and front-end interfaces.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
  • Utilize databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB to store and manage data.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of software processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years as a Full-Stack Developer using open-source technologies.
  • Strong experience with Python and/or other object-oriented languages.
  • Proficiency in full-stack development including back-end, data storage, and web frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Strong fundamentals in OOP, data structures, algorithms, and testable code.
