About the role

Seeking a skilled full-stack engineer with expertise in Python (Flask/Django), React, and cloud/DevOps tools to develop high-quality applications in a remote, collaborative environment for Bluelight Consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Python and JavaScript frameworks such as Flask/Django and React.
  • Design, implement, and optimize backend services and data storage solutions.
  • Participate in system architecture design and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop SaaS products and enterprise solutions.
  • Utilize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools to ensure smooth deployment and integration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer with open-source technologies.
  • Strong experience with Python (Flask or Django), JavaScript (React, Knockout), SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
  • Proficiency with Git, Vagrant, Fabric, Docker, AWS, Jenkins.
