About the role

A position for a Junior Frontend Developer responsible for landing page development, working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment on innovative projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a small team including other developers, project manager, QA, and designer.
  • Complete two-week sprints, participate in sprint retrospectives, and do daily standups.
  • Assist with building estimates.
  • Interface with clients via Slack, Zoom, and email.
  • Work with modern tools including Jira, Slack, GitHub, Google Docs.
  • Be part of a community of developers sharing knowledge and helping each other.
  • Follow Bluelight's detailed development process.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript with a focus on landing page development.
  • Basic understanding of core engineering concepts and eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including testing, source control, and agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify issues and learn from them.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate.
  • Detail-oriented approach to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Ability to work effectively under guidance of senior engineers and adapt to feedback.
  • Solid foundation in engineering best practices and a desire to gain expertise in landing page development.
