About the role

A full-time remote position in Belmopan, Belize, for a skilled Laravel and React developer to join Bluelight's rapidly growing software consultancy, working on innovative projects with modern technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality applications using Laravel (Laravel 8 and above) and React.
  • Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, Inertia.js, and frontend features.
  • Write tests using Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, Playwright.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver projects that meet client goals.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality, accuracy, and detail-oriented work.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with Laravel, specifically Laravel 8+.
  • Experience with Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, Query Builder.
  • Proficiency with testing tools like Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, Playwright.
  • Experience with frontend development (React, Vue.js, Livewire).
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS is a bonus.
  • Ability to take extreme ownership over work.
  • Strong client-focused attitude and positive mindset.
  • Forensic attention to detail.
