About the role

Seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to create and maintain high-quality, responsive websites, ensuring accessibility and aesthetic standards while collaborating with product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to create and maintain high-quality, responsive WordPress websites with seamless user experiences.
  • Develop theme-based WordPress pages, building and customizing themes to meet project specifications and design requirements.
  • Implement and maintain web accessibility standards (WCAG 2+ at level AA) to ensure accessibility for users with disabilities.
  • Work closely with the product team and designers to translate mockups into functional and aesthetically pleasing webpages.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Experience with WordPress theme development and customization.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards, specifically WCAG 2+ at level AA.
  • Ability to collaborate with designers and product teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
