About the role

Assistant Managers at Mulberry are called 'People and Experience Leaders' and are responsible for developing high-performing teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and supporting the Store Leader to drive commercial success while upholding Mulberry’s values and sustainability commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Store Leader to develop the best team, fostering diversity, equity, empathy, and inclusion; encourage dynamic discussions and collaboration; provide honest feedback, praise, coaching, and challenge.
  • Be customer focused: nurture a welcoming environment, deliver engaging and memorable customer experiences, stay culturally connected to Mulberry’s place in life and art, and maintain key customer relationships using instore CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with Store Leader to be commercially driven: drive the business, build a network to achieve goals, use market awareness and analysis to maximize trading opportunities, and lead operational excellence with respect for people, product, and environment.
  • Care about people and the planet: embody Mulberry values (honest, dynamic, community spirited), support an inclusive culture, and work as part of a B Corp certified business with sustainable practices.
