About the role

Smart Meter Engineer role for Octopus Energy Services, focused on installing smart meters in customers’ homes, demonstrating devices, and delivering high-quality customer service in the South West region.

Responsibilities

  • Fitting smart meters in customers’ homes
  • Showing customers how their meter and in-home display work
  • Explaining energy-saving benefits and addressing customer questions
  • Representing Octopus Energy brands in the field
  • Working with the office team to deliver high-quality service

Qualifications

  • Previous experience installing smart meters
  • Customer-first mindset and can-do attitude
  • Valid MOCoPA certification held within the last 2 years (evidence required)
  • Gas Safe – CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
