About the role

Senior multi-disciplinary TechOps Generalist to provide enterprise IT support, automation, and project leadership within Octopus Energy UK. Hybrid, in London/Manchester/Brighton/Coventry/Leicester/Warwick offices with remote options.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support across the business to enable employees to work efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues from laptop faults and network problems to account provisioning and SSO failures.
  • Collaborate with Security to balance security, productivity, and user experience.
  • Continuously automate processes and improve user experience.
  • Design and build self-service solutions for users.
  • Monitor and maintain office technology (networks, meeting rooms, printers, digital signage, CCTV, access control).
  • Manage supplier relationships and procurement for SaaS and hardware.
  • Lead and manage complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of solid enterprise IT experience.
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS tooling (Okta, Kandji, Kolide, Zscaler, Meraki, HiBob) and customisation for Enterprise environments.
  • Strong ability to articulate and implement technical capabilities for peers and end-users.
  • Team player with collaborative and transparent work style.
  • Experience scripting and using APIs to automate tasks.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and managing multiple priorities.
