About the role

Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to support product development and strategy for Paytm's offline merchant solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for accurate data collection and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain data dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Identify patterns and trends in data and provide recommendations to improve product performance, adoption, user experience, and business outcomes.
  • Work with the product team to design and execute experiments to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of product changes.
  • Develop and implement statistical models for forecasting, predictive analytics, and optimization.
  • Help define and monitor key performance indicators for commerce products.
  • Identify opportunities for data-driven innovation and contribute to new product features and capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a business development environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio or Looker.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or HiveQL.
  • Expertise with programming languages like Python or R is a plus.
