About the role

Responsible for increasing sales of Paytm's EDC devices among merchants, ensuring quality onboarding, minimizing risks, and engaging with internal teams and merchants.

Responsibilities

  • Increase sales of devices among merchants in a specified area.
  • Engage in physical movement into micro markets to identify and sell to good quality merchants.
  • Minimize risks of fraud and chargebacks by ensuring good quality of merchant onboarding.
  • Adhere to risk guidelines shared by the team and resolve issues highlighted as high risk during merchant visits.
  • Seek references of other good merchants from the converted clients.
  • Engage with various Business & Technology Teams within Paytm to identify bottlenecks, especially on the technology front.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Paytm.
