About the role

Managing and growing Paytm’s relationships with RTCs and private bus operators, driving partnerships, regional revenue, and operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and expand relationships with RTCs and private operators.
  • Onboard new operators and ensure digital adoption of Paytm Travel tools.
  • Negotiate commission structures, payout terms, and commercial agreements.
  • Own and drive revenue targets, load factors, and seat fill rates.
  • Collaborate with central teams for dynamic pricing strategies.
  • Track revenue leakage, cancellations, and resolve issues with operators.
  • Benchmark fares and operator quality against competitors.
  • Provide insights on pricing trends, demand patterns, and consumer behavior.
  • Recommend product/UX changes based on operator feedback.
  • Monitor SLA adherence on seat confirmations, refunds, and cancellations.
  • Collaborate with customer support and tech teams to resolve escalations.
  • Perform health checks and audits on partner performance and NPS metrics.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in bus ticketing, logistics, e-commerce, or B2B travel partnerships.
  • Prior experience with state transport corporations or regional aggregators (plus).
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
  • Data-savvy, comfortable with dashboards, Excel, and BI tools.
  • Deep understanding of regional travel patterns, fares, and operations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the regional language.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
