About the role

Strategic leadership role responsible for driving GMV and market share in offline payments via EDC terminals, focusing on merchant usage and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own strategy, targets, and execution roadmap for EDC GMV growth.
  • Lead initiatives to increase transaction frequency and value on EDC terminals.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams on offers, pricing, and features.
  • Define and track metrics for merchant activation, usage rate, and GMV retention.
  • Design campaigns and programs to boost merchant activity and reduce churn.
  • Implement early warning systems for merchant activity decline.
  • Analyze data for merchant segmentation and cohorts based on various dimensions.
  • Identify friction points and create actionable measures for different merchant cohorts.
  • Own merchant experience metrics, feedback loops, and support data analysis.
  • Translate insights into product roadmap requirements and operational improvements.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall experience in Payments, FinTech, or eCommerce.
  • At least 4+ years in a senior leadership role (AVP/GM or equivalent).
  • Experience with GMV growth, revenue, or business P&L.
  • Strong understanding of offline payments ecosystem, merchant acquiring, and POS/EDC products.
  • Proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel, or BI tools for data analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage large, cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field. MBA is a plus.
