About the role

Seeking a Product Manager for the Merchant Lending team, focusing on creating intuitive digital journeys for merchants, data-driven product development, and customer experience enhancement.

Responsibilities

  • Design frictionless, intuitive digital journeys for merchants (onboarding, credit decisioning, KYC, disbursement, repayment, and closure).
  • Identify and eliminate drop-off points using funnel data and user feedback.
  • Develop a nuanced understanding of small business owners’ needs, anxieties, and motivations when borrowing.
  • Translate those insights into UI/UX that builds trust and reduces cognitive load.
  • Evangelize customer-first practices within the merchant lending space.
  • Work with solution architects/engineering leads and write detailed product requirement documents. Manage roadmaps and deliverables.
  • Run edge cases, test products proactively, and provide early feedback on features.
  • Use data to identify bottlenecks, run experiments (A/B), and track impact.
  • Access, analyze, and validate data independently using SQL or comparable tools.
  • Track key product and data metrics (OKRs and KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science and/or related field with MBA from top tier colleges.
  • Professional experience of 2-4 years in Product Management.
