About the role

Lead sales activities for the Oil & Gas vertical at Paytm, focusing on offline payment solutions for petrol, gas stations, and retail merchants, including merchant onboarding and relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals.
  • Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.
  • Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver growth.
  • Define optimal sales force structure.
  • Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements.
  • Going to the Merchant and educating him/her about the benefits of the Swipe machine (EDC) converting them and managing their accounts.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Distribution sales in fintech, Banking/ Sales, and EDC Sales.
  • Graduation/Post Graduation preferred.
