About the role
Account Executive focused on Early Stage Sales for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) at Vanta. Responsible for managing entire sales cycle from outbound prospecting to closing, with a 30-day deal acceleration target, in a hybrid Dublin-based role with German and English language requirements.
Responsibilities
- Identify high-potential business verticals to develop and execute outbound strategies to engage them with Vanta.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, with a focus on expediting deals within a 30-day timeframe.
- Turn our inbound demand into closed-new business and happy Vanta customers.
- Manage our sales pipeline, improving and maturing our sales process and playbook.
- Define and communicate the specific benefits of Vanta appropriate for each customer, including making sales materials and demos.
- Collect insights from prospects for our product development process.
Qualifications
- 12+ months in a closing and quota-carrying role, with a proven track record of exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, preferably in SMB with a focus on short deal cycles.
- Fluency in German and English with strong communication skills in both languages.
- Empathetic with a proven track record of long-term customer retention.
- Technical competency to understand Vanta’s software and build relationships with highly technical prospects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for making a large impact early in a startup environment.
- Openness to using AI to amplify skills and improve efficiency, with responsible judgment in applying AI.
