About the role

Remote freelance opportunity for fluent Mandarin/Guoyu speakers to participate in an audio data collection project to support AI and voice technology development.

Responsibilities

  • Record short, conversational audio clips in Mandarin/Guoyu based on a provided script.
  • Simulate natural background environments such as a car, café, or office (using actual sounds or background tracks).
  • Follow specific guidelines to ensure clarity, consistency, and a natural delivery.
  • Complete a set number of recordings assigned for your language.

Qualifications

  • Full professional proficiency in Mandarin/Guoyu.
  • Proficient in English to read guidelines and communicate.
  • Access to a laptop or desktop capable of producing clear audio recordings and a phone.
