About the role

Senior/Staff full‑stack engineer role at Sailor Health, an AI-native healthcare platform for older adults. Own end-to-end product work, build web apps and AI agents, collaborate with clinical/operations/growth teams, and influence what gets built to move key metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Build web apps end to end: frontend, backend, system design, testing, and launch, owning the full lifecycle from scoping to measuring impact.
  • For patients, create delightful, accessible experiences that build confidence with technology.
  • For providers, develop tools that save clinicians time, reduce friction, and improve patient outcomes.
  • Build AI agents from the ground up: designing conversations, orchestrating models, evaluating quality, and shipping reliable agents.
  • Work directly with clinical, operations, and growth teams to understand problems before deciding what to build.
  • Work at the frontier: use the newest models and agentic tooling as they come out, with freedom to choose stack and approach.

Qualifications

  • You’re an A+ player with drive to win and a track record of excellence.
  • Technically excellent: comfortable across the stack in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
  • Product driven: strong intuition for user needs and ability to understand underlying business and clinical problems.
  • Thrive in ambiguity: energized by open-ended problems and imperfect information.
  • Cares deeply about people: aims to make a real difference, with kindness and low ego.
