About the role

Octopus Energy UK is hiring a Field Sales/ Venues Sales Representative in Glasgow to promote energy tariffs and low carbon technologies at venues, delivering excellent customer service and helping customers make informed choices about switching to Octopus Energy.

Responsibilities

  • Directly engage with customers on a face to face basis to promote our energy tariffs and low carbon technologies (e.g., solar panels, heat pumps, electric vehicles)
  • Introduce Octopus Energy as a preferred supplier by comparing services and products with other energy companies to help customers decide if switching is beneficial
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming, positive experience for every new customer brought on board

Qualifications

  • Sales experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and develop.
  • Confidence in communication, listening skills, and genuine interest in connecting with others
  • Positive, approachable and confident communication style
  • Experience in a customer-centric setting with quick, effective customer solutions
  • Willingness to approach customers and maximize each interaction
  • Enjoy bringing joy to customers and making processes easy
  • Detail-oriented and accurate in handling responsibilities
  • Honest, focused, and committed to representing the brand
  • Driving license to travel to venues across locations
