Responsibilities

  • Talking to customers that might be in financial difficulty.
  • Handling customer communications through inbound/outbound phone calls, emails and text messages.
  • Using initiative to agree appropriate repayment plans using external tools (e.g., PayLink) to review affordability and engage with customers.
  • Own customer issues from start to finish, resolving problems and maintaining contact.
  • Identifying vulnerabilities (financial and non-financial) to ensure appropriate level of care and service.

Qualifications

  • Passion for customer service and first-class service delivery.
  • Fast learner with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple directions.
  • Experience in credit collections or energy industry is a bonus but not required.
  • Ability to manage own workload.
  • Helpful and patient attitude.
  • Strong emotional resilience and empathy for challenging conversations.
  • Self-starter with initiative to problem solve and make sound decisions.
