Senior Software Engineer at Xometry, focused on Post Order/Order Management, responsible for designing, coding, testing, and releasing software with emphasis on reliability, scalability, and security in an AWS/Kubernetes environment.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, coding, testing, and releasing software
  • Reading, writing, and reviewing code in HTML, Typescript/Javascript/React, Python, and Rust
  • Collaborating with engineers and product managers on an autonomous, cross-functional team
  • Operational responsibility for services owned by the team, including deploying services into AWS and Kubernetes and participating in on-call rotation
  • Work in an environment that supports individual growth

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a full stack software developer in a fast-paced technical environment
  • Demonstrable understanding of software engineering fundamentals
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, DOM web programming
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience in at least two of React, Python, Typescript
  • Experience with software engineering principles related to security, scalability, asynchronous programming and transactions
  • Attention to detail, good work ethic, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and good communication skills
