Responsibilities

  • Drive impactful projects and lead technical decision-making

  • Own large portions of the application from start to finish
  • Collaborate with design and product management to build robust, scalable, user-centered systems
  • Solve complex problems across backend and frontend stacks and infrastructure
  • Guide and align work with business priorities and customer value
  • Work with deployment teams and users to iterate solutions
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and scaling distributed systems

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience with cross-functional software development teams
  • Experience shipping and iterating on production-grade software components
  • Ability to write robust, well-tested, well-designed code that frequently deploys to users
  • Solid understanding of architecting and scaling distributed software systems
  • Strong best practices in modern software development and navigating large codebases
  • Located in San Francisco, CA and able to work in office
