About the role

Manage day-to-day facility operations, stakeholder engagement, contract and vendor management, financial oversight, safety, and operational improvements for multiple office locations in Mumbai and Bangalore.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily Facility Operations and activities for the assigned facilities.
  • Act as the on-site key point of contact for location stakeholders.
  • Oversee Facility Management, Landlord management, and infrastructure projects.
  • Plan, track, and execute maintenance activities, space, and seating management.
  • Oversee financial activities including budgeting, tracking spending, billing, vendor contracts, and procurement.
  • Manage outsourced manpower involved in janitorial work, security, and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain high-performing teams, ensuring staff morale and ethics.
  • Engage stakeholders to meet site expectations and build relationships.
  • Manage contracts and leases, ensure cost-effectiveness, and monitor expiry and renewals.
  • Ensure vendor performance and compliance with procurement guidelines.
  • Verify invoices, monitor expenses, and generate financial reports.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, ensure statutory compliance, and oversee environmental health and safety.
  • Implement quality improvements, operational standards, and facility management programs.
  • Supervise office maintenance and refurbishment activities.
  • Plan and optimize facility space and operations, including security, cleaning, catering, waste disposal, and parking.
  • Implement risk management, incident reporting, and compliance with conduct codes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 to 12 years of experience in facilities, property management, or hospitality.
  • Experience working in service industry/environment.
  • Knowledge of local occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Understanding of critical facilities and utilities.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract interpretation.
  • Strong budget management and financial analysis skills.
