About the role

A freelance remote role for English into Romanian translators and reviewers specializing in creative UI and marketing content for a global music streaming client, focusing on content translation, review, and copy editing.

Responsibilities

  • Translate and review content from English into Romanian with original meaning conveyed in a readable and understandable manner.
  • Handle various content types such as Informational, Legal, Marketing, Product, Support.
  • Work with CAT tools including Phrase and Lucid.
  • Contribute actively to the success of the program and take ownership of incoming work.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience translating and reviewing content in marketing, product, and informational subjects.
  • Proficient in all areas of expertise: marketing, product, informational.
  • Well-versed in translation & terminology tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in Romanian with native fluency.
  • Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to follow instructions (e.g., character restrictions).
  • Effective communication of transcreation rationale.
  • Knowledge of UI, CS, and creative content such as synopses and episodic titles.
