About the role

Founding Sr Full-Stack Engineer at Helium, building Self-Improving Software with AI-driven experiences. In-office, high-growth startup seeking hands-on, end-to-end contributors to scale AI-powered frontend/backend systems.

Responsibilities

  • Adding new features to the front-end Next.js application and deploying scalable Golang code that serves thousands of requests each second globally.
  • Tune/Optimize/Load test servers as growth accelerates from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of users per day.
  • Designing data systems and ML training infrastructure that power automated experimentation at scale.
  • Work directly with founders and customers to design, implement, and deliver the best experiences.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Keen problem solving skills
  • Strong programming/full-stack foundation (backend and frontend React)
  • Experience working directly on user-facing products
  • Stellar cross-functional communication skills
  • Owning features end to end (PRDs/specs, end-to-end testing)
  • Experience scoping, designing, and running complex multi-engineer projects
  • Experience mentoring or managing engineers
  • Requires Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or similar field
