About the role

Lead customer acquisition efforts by increasing sales of EDC machines, managing a team, and building strong merchant relationships to support business growth in Chennai.

Responsibilities

  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Drive swiping device sales in the assigned area.
  • Resolving merchant queries.
  • Drive overall engagement of the merchant base.
  • Capable of hiring and building a team.
  • Set clear team goals.
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
  • Oversee day-to-day operation.
  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
  • Motivate team members.
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching.
  • Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
  • Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments.
  • Encourage creativity and risk-taking.
  • Suggest and organize team-building activities.

Qualifications

  • Graduation / MBA (Marketing).
  • 8-12 years experience in sales - business development, B2C markets.
  • Good networking capabilities and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Skilled in coaching and mentoring.
  • Ability to articulate complex solutions.
  • Good sales and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in quota-driven sales.
